Sickle Cell Disorders

The Sickle Cell Lifespan clinic at MSU Health Care is a partnership between MSU and University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Hospital. This is a comprehensive clinic, meaning, in addition to a physician, you will also have access to our nurses, social workers, dietitians, and genetic counselors, all with expertise in sickle cell disease.

Transition from childhood to adult world is difficult, inherited conditions like sickle cell disease make it even more challenging. Our goal is to assist with your care during this transition and then throughout your lifetime, all within MSU Health Care.

In addition, we want to provide patient center care that is easily accessible and help manage your sickle cell disease related needs. Open and honest communication is the key to accomplishing this goal.  We place a premium on clear and helpful communication with you. You can contact us by telephone, telehealth, email, and through our patient portal.
