Family Medicine Patient Parking
Parking Registration Required at Clinical Center
Patients and visitors are asked to complete parking registration for each visit online instead of by parking kiosk. Complementary parking for patients is completed using a link and code provided by your clinic.
You can register before you arrive online. Once registered, you may park in designated guest parking areas, including Lots 90 and 100, during your appointment.
If you do not have a smartphone or need help completing the online registration, our front desk staff are happy to assist you when you arrive.
You may see reminders about parking registration in appointment messages, on signs in exam rooms, and at check‑in. Thank you for your patience as we make this update to support a smoother experience for our patients and visitors.

Do I really have to register for parking every time I come?
Yes. Guest parking requires online registration for each visit. This policy change is part of the MSU campus parking changes.

What if I don’t have a smartphone or can’t scan the QR code?
That’s okay. You also can register at home on a computer using our custom parking page.
Our front desk staff also can help you register when you arrive. Please let us know if you need assistance. -
Where can I park after I register?
After you register, you may park in Lot 90 or Lot 100 as you normally would during your visit to the Clinical Center. Campus wayfinding is available at maps.msu.edu.

What happens if I forget to register before my appointment?
No problem. You can register when you arrive, and our front desk staff can help if needed.

I forgot to register and received a ticket.
If you had forgotten to register during your visit and were issued a ticket, you can submit an appeal online at https://parking.msu.edu/parking-violations.

Will I get charged for parking?
Parking is provided complementary for our family medicine patients. If you have questions or concerns about parking during your visit, please speak with our front desk team—we’re happy to help.
