National Influenza Vaccination Awareness Week is December 4-10. It is important for everyone 6 months and older to get a flu shot every year to protect against the flu and prevent serious complications, especially with the current rise in flu cases across the United States.
MSU Health Care Pharmacy offers flu shots by appointment. This vaccine is covered by most insurances.

MSU students can get their flu shot through the Olin Health Center. This vaccine is covered by the Student Health Insurance plan and most other insurances.
“The most important action students and the Spartan community can take to protect themselves this influenza season is getting a flu shot,” said Michael Brown, Michigan State University Physician. “As the chief public health officer for the university, I can confidently say this simple act will further a healthier community for us all to live, work and learn.”
